Kimberly Henninger and Shawn Parke are multi-genre music composers who currently reside in Portland, Oregon.  They have been working together in music since 2013.  In 2015 they wrote the original score for the NYC produced Sci-Fi feature EMBERS, called "The best Sci Fi discovery of the year" by Indiewire and winner of over 15 awards. They also wrote the music for the NYC produced indie crime drama, LUCKY, winner of the Urbanworld Audience Award for Best Feature at it's world premiere.  The duo have also written material for local and national advertisements and worked with local and far away (Los Angeles, Mid-West, East Coast, UK, Australia, Germany)  filmmakers, game designers, software companies, podcasters, authors, musicians, and all sort of creative types.  

Kim grew up in Detroit Michigan in a musical family and eventually discovered Punk Rock.  She is a lifelong artist and musician and singer, studied video and media under the legendary "Uncle" Russ Gibb.  Kim studied fine arts at The University of Alaska Fairbanks where she also ran sled dogs.  She was a vocalist for the Detroit based Black Metal outfit .NEMA and has collaborated with musicians in genres ranging from Classical Jazz and Folk to Gospel.  

Shawn Parke grew up in the small town of Ellensburg Washington.  He has been involved in the PNW music scene since he was a teen.  He studied music production under Grammy nominated producer (The Arcade Fire) Scott Colburn and the author of Modern Recording Techniques David Miles Huber.  In addition to his film work he is known for his production and remix work with artists such as Mirah, LAKE, Calvin Johnson, Long Distance Poison and many more.  The press have compared his diverse offerings to artists such as Massive Attack, Dan The Automator, and John Carpenter's long time collaborator Alan Howarth. 

Both Kimberly and Shawn attended the well known stronghold of Liberal Arts The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington.
